At Hagans Plastics Co., Inc., quality is not taken lightly.
From the time a project is started at conception, quality plays an important part. From design to tooling, production, assembly thru delivery, all aspects of the part are inspected as well as the manufacturing process to look for ways to provide an even better product and experience.
All items are manufactured to the highest quality and all manufacturing work is performed to meet AS 9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
- AS 9100 is the quality management standard specifically written for the aerospace industry. *It had long been considered by some entities, such as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), that the ISO 9000 series of standards were inadequate in terms of ensuring quality and safety in the “high risk” aerospace industry.
- ISO 9001: ISO Standards ensure that products and services are safe, reliable and of good quality. For business, they are strategic tools that reduce costs by minimizing waste and errors and increasing productivity.
Quality Control with Faro Laser Technology
Hagans Quality Department operates from a new 600 square foot, environmentally controlled inspection lab. The quality lab provides the equipment and environment needed for our inspectors to accurately verify key product characteristics throughout the manufacturing process.
In addition to first piece and in-process inspection performed to support manufacturing, Hagans also has the ability to perform and report even the most complex first article inspections utilizing our state-of-the-art Faro Arm with laser scanning capability.

- Defective PPM – Achieve 250 or less defective parts per million.
- On Time Delivery – Achieve on time delivery of 99% based on the promised ship date.
